About the role:

Lead DE delivery on a major civil infrastructure project in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs through Design, Construction, and Handover phases. This role involves managing a DE team, overseeing BIM, asset handover, and GIS/CDE protocols to meet client and project requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation, productivity, and collaboration. Report to the Project Engineering Manager, with functional ties to national and regional DE leads.

  • Develop and oversee the digital engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with project and industry standards.
  • Manage DE deliverables, workflows, and quality assurance to meet cost, quality, and efficiency objectives.
  • Act as the primary contact for DE, liaising with stakeholders and ensuring alignment on standards and practices.
  • Provide training, foster innovation, and continuously evaluate digital tools for improved efficiency.
  • Oversee the DE budget, ensuring resource efficiency and achievement of project KPIs.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in digital engineering, BIM management, or a related role within major infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience leading digital engineering on large-scale projects within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of BIM standards, tools, and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data management, integration, and interoperability across digital platforms.
