We are seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator (minimum 5 years’ experience) to join our Parramatta-based team, working on Creek Connect, a major water infrastructure project for Sydney Water.

In this role, you will administer head contracts and key subcontracts, manage variations and claims, ensure contractual compliance, and support procurement and commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with project managers and key stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

This position offers long-term stability and valuable exposure on one of Sydney’s largest and most complex water infrastructure programs.

Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.

About the Role:

  • Administer head contract compliance and subcontract agreements
  • Oversee tender evaluations and negotiate subcontractor terms
  • Process payments, variations, and ensure statutory compliance
  • Support project team with commercial advice and reporting
  • Maintain financial systems and deliver contract admin training

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering
  • Min. 5 years of relevant infrastructure experience – Water experience advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and financial systems
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Current C-Class Driver’s Licence

Many of our projects are not accessible via public transport and require travel between and within active construction sites. As a result, a current Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive on site are essential.
