At Seymour Whyte you'll commence on a live project and be given meaningful responsibility from the outset, contributing to the delivery of major infrastructure projects while learning from some of the industry's most experienced professionals.
We have an opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer to commence on our Cressbrook Dam Project.
This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience on the Cressbrook Dam project, one of Queensland's most significant infrastructure upgrades.
The successful candidates will be required to work away from home in regional Toowoomba. Living away from home (LAFHA), and project allowances apply.
About the project
This project is a major infrastructure upgrade that will enhance the dam's flood capacity, strengthen resilience to extreme weather events, and improve long-term community safety. This important project will help protect downstream communities while ensuring the asset continues to meet modern engineering and regulatory standards for generations to come.
Set within one of Queensland's most picturesque natural environments, the project offers exposure to complex engineering challenges and a unique opportunity to learn from experienced industry professionals.

About you:
- In your final year of study for a Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- Demonstrated work experience through industry placements, internships, vacation work or other employment
- Passionate about civil construction, eager to build a long-term career in the industry
- Motivated, proactive and willing to learn from experienced industry professionals
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a positive, can-do attitude
- Hold a current, unrestricted C-Class Driver Licence
- Have access to your own reliable transport
- Willing to travel or relocate to project locations as opportunities arise
- Committed to working safely and contributing to a positive team culture
