We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Commercial team and support the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project. Based on site, and reporting into the project's commercial leadership team, you will provide expert contract administration services across procurement, subcontract management, cost control, commercial reporting and project compliance.

Perth Park will transform the Burswood Peninsula into Western Australia’s premier destination for sport, music and community events. Featuring Perth’s first outdoor amphitheatre, landscaped parklands and multi-use tracks, this iconic project will create a vibrant space for festivals, cycling, motorsport and more. This is an opportunity to bring your commercial expertise to a complex civil construction environment where your ability to identify risk, negotiate outcomes and support project teams will directly contribute to project success.

About the role:

  • Manage subcontract procurement from tender through to close-out
  • Review and administer subcontract agreements and scopes
  • Monitor compliance with head contract obligations and conditions
  • Assess progress claims, variations and subcontractor payments
  • Process costs, accruals and commercial reporting activities
  • Support contract negotiations and commercial risk management
  • Provide commercial guidance to project teams and stakeholders
  • Assist with financial system management, training and process improvement
  • Support the supervision and development of commercial and administration team members

Skills and experience required:

  • Commercial or financial qualifications, or equivalent experience
  • Experience as a Contracts Administrator within a principal contractor environment
  • Strong understanding of subcontract and head contract management
  • Knowledge of project costing, procurement and commercial systems
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
