About the role:

You will be responsible for planning and scheduling across various upcoming projects in NSW, with a focus on water infrastructure. You will work closely with the precontracts team to develop accurate project timelines, as well as collaborate with site teams to ensure schedules are adhered to. While based at our head office in McMahons Point, you will occasionally travel to local project sites to provide on-the-ground planning support as needed.

  • Develop programs in Primavera P6 based on construction and contract requirements.
  • Regular updates of the contract program to protect rights for delay claims and associated contractual rights.
  • Cost and resource load program, produce resource histograms and identify problem areas, produce cash flow forecasts.
  • Run a monthly schedule analysis showing actual versus planned progress during the past period.
  • Provide cash flow data for the project using Primavera P6.
  • Support the project in the contractual extension of time claims.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience (5+ years) within the civil construction industry.
  • Prior experience formulating construction programmes within the civil construction environment
  • Road and Civil construction planning experience.
  • Relevant tertiary or practical qualification.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced application of Primavera programming software packages.
  • Familiarity with lineal construction activities.
  • Advanced time management and personal organisation skills.
  • Ability to foster harmonious working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – English language.
