Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.

The role:
As Contracts Administrator, your objective will be to provide assistance in contract administration, cost control, financial administration and project reporting. You will have excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, confidently able to engage with diverse people and situations.
- Awareness of the project Head Contract.
- Preparing progress/assessment claims in a timely manner.
- Cost management and forecasting, including coding.
- Review subcontractor agreements, including identification of risk areas, revision of scope of works, and ensuring statutory requirements are met.
- Compiling both internal and external reports.
- Analysing contracts to assess the requirements of the Principal.
- Tender analysis for budgetary constraints and cost control.
- Ensure financial administration activities are undertaken within expected performance indicators.
- Purchasing of goods for the site.
- Process costs and accruals with accuracy.
- Timely and accurate processing of payments.
About you:
- Relevant qualifications or previous experience in contracts/project administration in a principal contractor environment.
- Expertise in MS Word, Excel, MS Access and Outlook.
- Experience with and understanding of the Company's procurement and commercial processes and procedures.
- Experience with and understanding of financial / cost/project management systems and processes.
- Demonstrated understanding of Client Head contract documents.
Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore, all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
