Project Engineer – $1B Water Infrastructure EPCM | Long-term pipeline | Tier 1 delivery
Ready to work on a once-in-a-generation water infrastructure program in Western Sydney?
We’re seeking experienced Project Engineers with strong procurement, client-facing, and project management skills to join the forecast $1 billion Upper South Creek Network – a landmark 10-year Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project by Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, in partnership with Sydney Water.
We’re especially interested in engineers with solid experience in procurement management, stakeholder/client liaison, and end-to-end delivery. While a water background is beneficial, we’re also keen to speak with engineers from mechanical, electrical, or broader infrastructure projects, particularly those with exposure to treatment plants, oil & gas, or other services-heavy environments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage procurement and contract administration for key packages.
- Interpret and implement complex designs across site delivery.
- Coordinate with a range of stakeholders, including contractors, design teams, and Sydney Water.
- Track cost, productivity, and construction progress.
- Contribute to a collaborative EPCM delivery model.
What you’ll bring:
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or similar).
- Experience delivering complex civil infrastructure — ideally in water, oil & gas, process facilities, or large services-heavy projects.
- Site-based experience on infrastructure or complex services projects.
- Strong procurement and stakeholder/client management experience.
- Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused engineers with strong communication skills.
- EPCM or alliance-style delivery experience is highly desirable.
- Pre-contract exposure is a bonus but not required.
