About Seymour Whyte
We are a successful civil contracting business who has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. With the agility and personal connection of a Tier 2, yet the expertise of a Tier 1, and the enhanced resources of one of the largest, world-class construction companies, VINCI, our employees and clients get the best of three worlds.
As a progressive, leading civil engineering firm built on the strong foundations of our unique history, we engage, enable and empower our people to be better. With you, we are altogether stronger in building the future we want.
How you’ll make an impact:

- Create and manage content across a range of channels including intranet, social media, email, video, and events to promote our employer brand.
- Develop engaging storytelling content (written, video, graphic) for both internal and external audiences.
- Play a key role in supporting a major project in Western Sydney, including helping to engage and communicate with local communities.
- Lead the coordination and ongoing improvement of the intranet, including content creation, administration, and stakeholder support.
- Support key business programs including Health and Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion, and Corporate Social Responsibility, while working closely with teams across the business.
Your key qualities:
- Experience in communications or marketing through relevant qualifications or similar roles.
- Ability to create and edit content for digital channels like intranet social media and email.
- Strong people skills for working with different teams and building relationships.
- Proactive and organised approach to meeting deadlines and managing priorities.
- Comfort using digital tools such as intranet systems and Microsoft Office with Adobe or content scheduling skills as a bonus.
What’s in it for you:
- Health & Wellbeing: discounted health insurance, EAP, wellness perks.
- Time for Life: birthday leave, paid parental leave, purchased leave options.
- Financial Wellbeing: Annually reviewed salary, bonuses, employee share program.
- Career Growth: training, leadership pathways, competency frameworks.
Many of our projects are located in some regional and hard to access areas with limited or no public transport, so all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
