As the Project Communications Manager, you will play a key role in connecting with the community and all other stakeholders on this project. Your primary objective will be to ensure stakeholders are well-informed about project progress, timelines, and implications, ensuring positive relationships. About the role:

  • Develop and implement project communication and stakeholder engagement plans and issue management strategies for community and stakeholder support.
  • Planning and implementing communications and engagement strategies and activities including communication campaigns to support traffic changes, door knocks, community information centers/displays, briefings, and meetings.
  • Planning and preparing communication materials including works notifications, project updates/newsletters, correspondence, media releases, content for web/social media, presentations, traffic alerts, and other publications.
  • Ensuring community and stakeholder enquiries are effectively managed including staffing project enquiry phone line as required.
  • Undertake reporting on a regular basis, as required by clients and project management teams.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant experience in a similar role.
  • At least five years’ experience working at project site level in the civil construction industry.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Driver’s license.
