The T4 Elevated Rd & Forecourt contract has now been awarded to Seymour Whyte and provides two years of work at Melbourne Airport.  Joining an already established team, we are also seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor.  This role will cover all aspects of Supervisory work including, Pavements, Earthworks, Drainage, Services, Reinforced Earth, Traffic setups, and more.  Some night work is involved and will be shared amongst the team.

As a Supervisor, you'll be working in a fast-paced environment, surrounded by a team of civil construction professionals who are highly skilled and committed to what they do. With the support of management and your colleagues as well as the backing of an established company, you'll have the resources and tools you need to succeed in your role.

About the role:

  • Manage workforce, plant, and subcontractors and provide regular reports to the Project Manager/Superintendent.
  • Participate in future planning for equipment, plant, and labour requirements.
  • Plan and monitor works to ensure adherence to WHS, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with Engineers on construction programs and resource allocation.

Skills and experience:

  • Five years experience delivering civil infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Recognised skills in managing Work Health and Safety, Environmental legislative and procedural requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Quality, IR, HR, and other relevant legislation and standards.
  • Understanding of client specifications and ability to monitor ITPs for all trades.
  • Ability to manage assigned budgets and provide assistance with engineering forecasts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current C-Class Driver’s License.
