Seymour Whyte is on the verge of an exciting milestone: securing our first project in Adelaide. As we prepare for this next chapter, we’re seeking an experienced Site Engineer with Procurement experience to join our Pre-contracts team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of our growing team in South Australia, driving tenders and EOIs to success, and then stepping into a pivotal role on-site to deliver the project.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Preparing quote requests and collecting and analysing quotes.
- Ability to form and build relationships over the phone.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications typically used in major civil construction projects.
- Perform quantity calculations for tender input.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to operate on a high-volume workload is essential.
- Assist in the preparation of construction methodologies.
- Assist in developing Traffic Management Plans and programmes.
- Attending and participating in tender reviews.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
- Experience working within a civil construction environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current C-Class Driver’s License.
