Join a landmark infrastructure project as a Design Engineer who’s set to shape the future of Melbourne's transport network. You'll be working in a collaborative environment alongside industry-leading experts, leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative methodologies.

About the role:

• Support project teams by ensuring effective design management and clear communication throughout tender preparation and project delivery phases.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of design management plans, ensuring all design deliverables are completed on time and meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with the team to review designs, address scope changes, and ensure appropriate integration of cost, time, and methodology considerations.
• Monitor and report the progress of design work, ensuring compliance with the Design Management Plan and project quality standards.
• Support the identification and management of project risks and opportunities, ensuring budgets and contracts are reviewed and maintained.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• A Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil), Degree in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification.
• Registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer status (CPEng) is advantageous.
• Prior practical construction site experience is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
