We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our South Australian team and lead a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure tenders. You will take ownership of the end-to-end tender process, from first-principle estimating and cost analysis to exploring innovative construction solutions that enhance bid competitiveness. • Comprehensive Estimating: Analyse tender documentation in depth, evaluate alternative construction methodologies, and deliver innovative solutions that strengthen bid competitiveness. Keep meticulous records of all calculations, correspondence, and methodologies to support transparency and accuracy.
  • Risk & Cost Management: Proactively identify and assess project risks and opportunities, integrating insights into risk management tools such as Risk spreadsheets. Present well-structured tenders at review meetings, clearly highlighting key considerations and mitigation strategies.
  • Seamless Handover: Ensure successful tenders transition smoothly to Project Managers, providing thorough documentation and support. Collaborate closely with project teams at contract commencement to assist with financial administration and allocation of the Bill of Quantities.
  • Team Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor and guide junior Estimators and Engineering Assistants, fostering a high-performance, collaborative team environment. Work alongside internal stakeholders, including surveyors, planners, and procurement specialists, to leverage expertise and enhance tender accuracy.

About you:
