This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a Safety Administrator role, an ideal starting point for someone looking to grow in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing. You’ll take ownership of daily safety administration, including data entry, reporting, and compliance management using systems such as DAMSTRA, PSEM and SharePoint. Working closely with the Project Safety Manager and broader team, you’ll champion continuous improvement, support training and inductions, and help embed best practice safety standards across the project. This role is perfect for someone who’s proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to a strong, positive safety culture.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

· Lead Safety Administration – Oversee daily Health, Safety, and Wellbeing administration, including data management, reporting, and compliance activities across systems such as DAMSTRA, PSEM, SharePoint, and ChemWatch.

· Champion a Positive Safety Culture – Support the project’s safety objectives by leading by example, promoting compliance, and embedding best-practice standards across all operations.

· Training and Onboarding Support – Coordinate inductions and training events, maintain accurate training records, and mentor site personnel to enhance safety knowledge and performance.

· Drive Process Improvement – Contribute to continuous improvement by streamlining systems, enhancing reporting efficiencies, and supporting change initiatives within the safety function.

· Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with the Project Safety Manager and broader project teams to ensure strong administrative support, accurate record keeping, and alignment with project safety goals.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Certificate in Occupational First Aid/ Certification in Return to Work (RTW) and injury management processes with proven experiences

· Demonstrated high regard and understanding of safety principles, compliance and the principles of ‘audit ready all the time’.

· Proven experience in managing administrative functions simultaneously across multiple projects or business units.

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills

· Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
