Seymour Whyte is preparing for upcoming opportunities in the Adelaide market and is seeking an experienced Pre-Contracts Site Engineer with strong procurement capability to join our team.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing high-quality tenders and EOIs, supporting bid strategy, coordinating technical inputs, managing procurement elements, and ensuring we submit competitive, compelling proposals. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our growing presence in South Australia and make a meaningful impact during the critical pre-contracts phase.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Preparing quote requests and collecting and analysing quotes.
• Ability to form and build relationships over the phone.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications typically used in major civil construction projects.
• Perform quantity calculations for tender input.
• A strong attention to detail and ability to operate on a high-volume workload is essential.
• Assist in the preparation of construction methodologies.
• Assist in developing Traffic Management Plans and programmes.
• Attending and participating in tender reviews.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
• Experience working within a civil construction environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current C-Class Driver’s License.
