We are a successful civil contracting business who has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. With the agility and personal connection of a Tier 2, yet the expertise of a Tier 1, and the enhanced resources of one of the largest, world-class construction companies, VINCI, our employees and clients get the best of three worlds.
As our Senior Safety Coordinator on the Beerburrum to Nambour project, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping one of Queensland’s key rail infrastructure upgrades running safely and smoothly. This is a chance to be right at the heart of a complex, high‑movement work environment where your influence genuinely shapes daily outcomes. You’ll work side by side with supervisors, engineers and subcontractors, guiding them through safe work practices, spotting risks early and supporting a culture where safety is part of every conversation. Your leadership will help ensure the project delivers quality outcomes for the community while protecting the people who make it happen.
About the role:
- Mentor site teams to strengthen safety performance across the project
- Carry out inspections, audits and incident investigations with clear follow up
- Support the development and rollout of safety plans, systems and procedures
- Lead reporting, corrective actions and Return to Work processes
- Build a positive, open safety culture through daily engagement with crews
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
- Diploma in OHS with Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- Experience in a similar safety role within civil or construction
- Strong working knowledge of safety legislation and risk management
- Ability to build rapport with site teams, subcontractors and clients
- Current certifications across incident investigation, first aid and relevant high‑risk training
We offer a range of benefits and incentives:
- Competitive salary packages with performance-based incentives.
- Career development opportunities and access to professional training.
- Employee wellness programs, including health and fitness initiatives.
- Supportive team culture and a positive working environment where collaboration is key.
- Access to corporate discounts for various services and products.
- Opportunities to work on high-profile projects with a long-term future in the industry.
Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
