We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join our team, supporting the Creek Connect program with invoice processing, subcontractor claims, purchase orders, vendor setup, financial reporting, and general project finance administration.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations accurate, timely, and compliant while working closely with project and commercial teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.

About the Role:
- Process subcontractor claims accurately and in line with legislative and program requirements
- Manage purchase orders, advanced subcontracts, and vendor setups within the Connect system
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct approval levels
- Support month‑end processes, including preparation of accruals and financial reporting
- Respond to vendor queries and maintain up‑to‑date finance and procurement records
- Assist with audits and contribute to the rollout of financial and procurement procedures
- Prepare customer invoices and keep procurement registers current
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Financial Administration, Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience - construction experience highly desirable
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Experience with SAP systems (advantageous)
- Able to prioritise work and meet multiple deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence

Many of our projects are not accessible via public transport and require travel between and within active construction sites. As a result, a current Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive on site are essential.
