Early works for Cressbrook Dam are underway with construction activities progressing on site as the project ramps up resources and full delivery in mid 2026. Project allowances and other conditions apply.
We are looking for multiple experienced administration professionals to join our team on the Cressbrook Dam Safety Improvement Project. These roles play an important part in keeping information organised, accurate and moving smoothly across the project. You will work closely with site teams, engineers and stakeholders, providing day-to-day support that helps the project run safely and efficiently. Full training and support provided.
About the role:
- Manage and maintain accurate records, registers and controlled documents
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to project teams
- Ensure information is current, correctly filed and easy to access
- Coordinate document flow, reporting and compliance requirements
- Support smooth project delivery through organised, reliable administration
Skills and experience required:
- Strong administration experience, ideally within construction or engineering
- High attention to detail and confidence managing large volumes of documents
- Comfortable using document management systems and Microsoft Office
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work well within a team
- Due to location, a drivers license is essential

About the project
The Cressbrook Dam Safety Improvement Project is a major dam safety and flood resilience upgrade delivering complex works to critical water infrastructure in the Toowoomba Region. Seymour Whyte, in alliance with SMEC and Toowoomba Regional Council, has been selected to help deliver this flagship project, bringing together construction delivery, engineering expertise and collaborative project leadership on one of Queensland’s most significant local government-led dam upgrades.
The scope includes spillway widening, dam crest raising, berm and spillway re-profiling, right-hand wall strengthening, plunge pool widening and deepening, flip bucket extension, instrumentation upgrades and associated enabling works. It is a rare opportunity to join Seymour Whyte on a technically challenging, high-profile project with major civil, structural, hydraulic and dam safety interfaces, and real long-term community impact
