Seymour Whyte is delivering Coomera Connector Stage 1 South, a key infrastructure project improving transport links between Logan City and the Gold Coast. By building additional crossings over the Coomera and Nerang Rivers, this stage will ease congestion on the M1 and provide residents in growing areas such as Helensvale and Coomera with an alternative route.

As a Contracts Administrator, you will support the project team in delivering accurate and timely contract administration to assist with cost control, financial administration and project reporting. Working closely with project stakeholders, you will assist in the coordination and management of subcontractor and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance and contributing to positive commercial outcomes. This is a great opportunity to build your experience on a major infrastructure project within a supportive and collaborative team.

In this role, you will also:

  • Assist with tender analysis, subcontract preparation, variations, pricing and negotiations
  • Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and suppliers during tender and delivery phases
  • Monitor project cash flow, payments and Security of Payment compliance
  • Contribute to internal and external reporting processes
  • Provide administrative support to the project team and assist with reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Support procurement activities and site purchasing requirements
  • Maintain document control, filing systems and project administration processes
  • Maintain awareness of relevant legislation, industry standards and best practices

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Relevant formal qualifications in financial or commercial administration (Diploma or Certificate), or experience in commercial/contracts administration within a principal contractor environment
  • Experience with and understanding of procurement, commercial, financial and cost management processes and systems
  • Understanding of client head contracts, subcontract terms and relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
