Are you an infrastructure engineer with exceptional SharePoint capabilities? We are a dynamic organisation operating within the construction industry, and we are currently seeking an ICT Infrastructure Engineer (SharePoint Lead) to join our dedicated four-person ICT team.

This is a rare, hybrid role designed for a technical professional who can serve as our subject matter expert for cloud-based SharePoint infrastructure while actively contributing to the management of our network, security, and identity systems.

The Role
Reporting to the ICT Infrastructure Services Manager, you will take ownership of our digital collaboration workspace. You will architect, govern, and optimise our SharePoint Online environment, ensuring it meets the complex needs of our business. Concurrently, you will collaborate with your team members to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our broader IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, administration, and governance of our SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange)
  • Develop and implement custom workflows and automation using the Power Platform and PowerShell
  • Manage identity and access management via Microsoft Entra ID, including MFA and Conditional Access
  • Collaborate on the maintenance and enhancement of network infrastructure, firewalls, and cloud services (Azure)
  • Administer endpoint management and security policies using Microsoft Intune
  • Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex infrastructure and collaboration issues

Skills and Experience Required

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in SharePoint Online administration and architecture
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and Microsoft Entra ID
  • A solid background in core ICT infrastructure, including networking, security, and virtualisation
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for system automation
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively within a small, collaborative team
  • Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
