Join Project Delta ICON Water, supporting delivery of major water infrastructure upgrades following our award of the Icon Water Treatment Plant works in Canberra.
As we build our teams in Canberra, relocation assistance may be available for those looking to relocate to ACT.
This is a key Leading Hand role within the structures team, working closely with your supervisor to keep works progressing safely, efficiently and on program. You’ll be part of a fast-paced site environment where no two days are the same. Suited to someone with a proactive, can-do approach and strong on-site leadership capability, managing crews onsite.
About the role
- Support concrete pours and finishing works
- Assist with planning and execution of heavy lifts
- Work with engineers and supervisors to sequence works
- Resolve basic constructability issues on site
- Coordinate labour, plant and subcontractors
- Maintain safety, quality and compliance standards
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Strong structures experience
- Proven Leading Hand experience or ready to step up
- Construction White Card and relevant tickets
- Team-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks on site
Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
