We are seeking a Quality Engineer based in Austral with experience in water infrastructure to work on Upper South Creek Networks Program!

This position plays a key role in embedding the CreekConnect Quality Management System (QMS), leading audits, inspections and onsite surveillance to ensure delivery partners meet the highest standards. You’ll provide expert input into quality processes and procedures, ensuring full compliance with client specifications and contractual requirements.

Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.

About the Role:

  • Demonstrated experience driving quality outcomes across complex infrastructure projects, influencing standards and delivering lasting impact on Western Sydney’s growth.
  • Ensuring the processes needed for the project QMS are implemented and maintained.
  • Working across Pipelines, pumpstations and gravity carriers, as well as microtunnelling, HDD and open trenching works.
  • Champion precision and strong documentation, ensuring quality is embedded in every stage of delivery.
  • Maintenance of the required project QMS documentation including but not limited to the Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans and Process Method Statements.
  • Partner with a collaborative, inclusive team and influence stakeholders to consistently achieve best‑practice standards
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline

 

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and client standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Working knowledge of client standards and specifications.
  • Commissioning (electrical and mechanical) experience desired
  • Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
