We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our team. In this site-based role, you will provide essential administrative and commercial support to the project team. No two days are the same - expect a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your attention to detail and proactive, can-do attitude will truly shine!
About the role:
- Accurately verify and input delivery dockets, purchase orders, subcontractor details, timesheets and invoices into the job costing system.
- Support procurement processes to ensure timely supply of materials and services for site operations.
- Maintain up-to-date registers for vehicles, plant, equipment and staff leave records.
- Assist with managing progress claims and subcontractor payment schedules, including the preparation of certificates.
- Draft and compile project-related correspondence, reports, meeting minutes and presentations.
- Coordinate and organise project meetings, events and associated logistics.
- Complete general project administration tasks as required.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience in administrative roles within the civil construction industry, with accounts payable and schedule of rates contracts, is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and team-focused approach.
- Experienced in managing and maintaining registers for vehicles, plant and equipment.
- Solid understanding of job costing, invoicing and procurement procedures.
Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
